The Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum is the largest community museum in Ontario. Our main gallery tells the story of Waterloo Region from 12,000 years ago to today, and our feature gallery showcases local exhibits and travelling exhibits from around the world. The Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum is also the entrance to Doon Heritage Village, a picturesque 60-acre living history village. Stroll back in time to the year 1914 and experience historic buildings, period dressed interpreters, farm animals, and engaging activities for the whole family.
Nestled in the heart of downtown, Schneider Haus National Historic Site is the oldest house in Kitchener. Experience connections between today’s world and the families of the past who lived there. The site features hands-on activities, changing exhibits, interactive tours, special events and more!
McDougall Cottage Historic Site is an 1858 granite and limestone cottage located in the heart of downtown Cambridge that features exhibits, special events, tours, and more!
