Visit the Home of a Prime Minister.
I am trying to learn more about my local and provincial history and I am making my list to plan out my historical travels. I hope to bring my family with me and we can use our #VisitList to help guide our adventure and open our eyes and minds to the amazing historical places in our own backyard!
Places
Louis S. St. Laurent National Historic Site
Compton, Québec
I live in Quebec’s Eastern Townships and in the town of Compton, QC resides an amazing Historical Place I never knew about. You are able to visit the house former Canadian prime minister Louis S. St-Laurent. It is the house where he was born and also the family’s old general store! Compton is also an extremely charming town and we hope to visit some of the orchards and walk around the town to fully soak up the history.
