This place is an excellent historic site with free access. Also, the mill still runs Meaning you can get one of the coolest souvenirs of all, The flower it produces!
Cumberland Heritage Village Museum
Ottawa, Ontario
This museum provides an excellent glimpse into what life was like at the turn of the century in the Ottawa area. Plus on select days a group known as the Ottawa Valley Steamers run a set of rideable model trains in the back, which are rideable and free to use.
