Dundurn Castle a.k.a. my other house.
This glorious castle, full of beautiful furnishings and architectural delights, will take you to another era. Imagine, for an hour or so, what it was like to live above stairs in luxury overlooking Hamilton Harbour, Lake Ontario.
The Dovecote, used to trap pigeons that later became your squab dinner, was restored back in 1994. Not interested in the house ? The gardens are worthy of a visit too. Over 200 varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers are grown on the 2 acre plot.
The Princess of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Rothesay, Countess of Chester, Countess of Carrick, Baroness of Renfrew, Lady of the Isles and Princess of Scotland also known as Camilla, wife of Prince Charles, is the patron and also the great, great, great, grand daughter of a previous owner Sir Allan MacNab.
