Vancouver has the largest historic Chinatown in Canada. It has been a provincial historic site since 1971 and federal historic site since 2011.
I am the owner-operator of a culinary-heritage business. I have a volunteer and activist in Chinatown for more than 25 years, I am a Heritage Commissioner with the City of Vancouver, and I am an advisor to the Mayor and City Councillors.
In this historic neighbourhood, I offer tours, tours plus a dim sum lunch, a dumpling-making class, and a Dumpling Hop & Cocktails. This is a vibrant cultural community.
