Sir Frederick W.G. Haultain began his law practice in this building in Fort Macleod. This original site restoration of his office and living quarters shows the details of his early career. Haultain went on to become premier of the North-West Territories in 1897 and was instrumental in establishing Alberta and Saskatchewan as provinces.
