Fun Facts

The return of featured programs this summer:  The Smuggling exhibition, an activity where you are the hero, has been redeployed in a completely renovated room.  The redesign of two exhibition rooms offers views of the large inner courtyard, the park and the river. In these clearer and brighter spaces, themed programs will be presented by interpreter guides. Not to mention the featured activities: o The life of the soldier o Soldiers, keep up the rhythm! with the rifle shooting demonstrations o The architecture of the fort o Archaeological findings Art exhibition at the guardhouse

In collaboration with the City of Chambly, visitors will have the chance this summer to admire three painting exhibitions at the guardhouse (500 m from the Fort). From May 21 to October 10, three painters will take turns exhibiting their works, addressing different perspectives, including climate change. For details: https://ville.chambly.qc.ca/expositions/

Parking fees

Please note that as part of a service adjustment, Fort Chambly’s P1 and P2 parking lots will be subject to a fee of $4.25/day as of May 20, 2022. Visitors to Fort Chambly who come to visit the exhibitions can have their parking fees refunded at the reception desk by presenting their parking ticket.
