Video and Q&A with Lang Pioneer Village

Type
Virtual
When
3 July, 2021 | 3PM ET

We are going to be showing one of our pre-recorded videos touching upon First Nations & Settler history. Specifically, we are showing Aabamnigaan: Looking Forward which is the story of Nogojiwanong, now known as Peterborough County, from the 1800s and into the present. This storied tour explores both Indigenous and settler local history, a history that has shaped our lives. These stories are the basis of the living history that you will experience when you visit Lang Pioneer Village Museum. After we show this video, we invite participants to join us in a Q&A period where any questions regarding Lang or the Aabamnigann video can be discussed.
