Historic Places Day at the Museum: STEAM Expo

 

Enjoy FREE admission to the Huron County Museum for National Historic Places Day!  Enjoy hands on science, technology, engineering, art, and math learning interactives with visiting STEAM experts at the Huron County Museum!

Participants will be learning to combine pulley and gear systems as they build and race their electric cars. The goal will be for each child to build a car that goes both fast and straight.

Our Minerals in Your Materials.  Explore your stuff, how it’s made and where it’s materials come from!  Staff from the University of Waterloo’s Earth Sciences Museum will provide mineral specimens to touch and feel and point out what minerals are in your materials and where they come from in Canada.
