The City of Hamilton might be best known for its numerous waterfalls that dot the Niagara Escarpment, but the City has a settlement history dating back to the early-1800s. With a downtown core rich with heritage, the City also boasts numerous national historic sites that contribute to telling the history of Canada. These sites include Dundurn Castle, the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and the Battlefield House Museum and Park.
