Tipple Park Museum is nestled in the northern foothills of Alberta bordered by the Pembina and Lobstick Rivers in the hamlet of Evansburg. Our museum celebrates the history of the area through exhibits in the main building as well as a collection of historic buildings on the property. Our main building features an archive and collections storage area.
The name Tipple Park is a nod to the hamlet’s coal mining past as Tipple Park is located on the site where the infrastructure for the coal mine once stood.
Our museum is open to the public year-round, with limited access to the historic buildings during the winter months. We strive to offer programming that all ages in our community and have a year round schedule of craft hours, festivals, lectures, and more.
