The Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre is a community history museum for Rossland, BC covering the mining, industrial, skiing, social, cultural, and natural history of Rossland and area.
Also home to Rossland’s Visitor Information Centre as a gateway to the Kootenays and the Columbia Basin. Public washrooms, museum shop, free WiFi, coffee/tea by donation, family-friendly washroom.

- Rossland, BC started out as an 1890s gold rush town!
- The early Scandinavian miners brought skiing to the area, sowing the seeds for Rossland’s current ski resort and tourism industry.
- The legendary Le Roi mine grossed roughly 24 million grams (roughly 53,000 lbs) of gold during its years of operations.
- The Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre is located on the site of the Black Bear Mine, an adit to the Le Roi
- The Red Chair was first installed in 1947, making it the second chair lift in Canada.
