The Saint John Jewish Historical Museum is the centre of Jewish heritage, culture and history in the heart of Uptown Saint John, New Brunswick. We tell the stories of the Jewish Community of Saint John from its beginnings in 1783 to the present day.
Follow the waves of immigration to Saint John and explore Jewish traditions and customs. A series of changing exhibits recall the richness of family, business and organizational life that flourished from the 1920s to the 1960s.
Museum tours led by members of the Jewish community give visitors a unique first-person view of local history and cultural experience.
Connect to your roots – meet your neighbours – share your stories.
