Fun Facts
The property at 129 Lincoln street has been traced back to the original land grant issued at the founding of Lunenburg in 1753. The house dates to the early part of the 19th century and is being sympathetically restored by current owners Lynn Misner and Stephen Ernst. It was originally the home and birthplace of noted Nova Scotian historian, writer, teacher and Order of Canada recipient Dr. J. Murray Beck (1914-2011).
