Pete’s Dairy Bar is a family owned & operated ice cream shop located in St George, New Brunswick, Canada.
Located in the same building since opening in 1984, Pete’s has been serving up delicious frosty treats to multiple generations of St George, and surrounding area, residents.

The building was originally built in 1940 and opened as the Capitol Theater showing movies until the mid-1970s.
Pete first sold ice cream, fountain soda and french fries in a corner of the theater in the early 1960s.
The namesake of “Pete’s” was a woman named Florence Rubin. She, and her husband Nate, ran the shop until her death in 2003. After 2003, their daughter has been managing/owner.
