This homestead was settled in the early 19th century. It is home to heritage buildings, a log house, carriage house, woodworking and blacksmithing shops, drivesheds and timber barns. A centre piece is the mill pond with timber framed covered bridge over 100 ft long. The operating sawmill was built in the mid 19th century and still operates on special days! Into hiking trails, we have kilometers of trails on the 100 acres that wanders about the woodlands on the 100 acre farm. The trails have stepping stones or footbridges over the two creeks that meader through the bush. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a day with us!
