Walk in Nellie McClung’s footsteps in this small historic town that helped inspire a legendary human rights champion.

This historic place features the only two of her homes open to the public in Canada complete with a treasure trove of personal artifacts.

From here, McClung launched her career as a teacher, advocate, best selling author and national speaker. And juggled raising four of her five children at the same time – quite a feat in 1900.
