A 1798 heritage house built by Col. Robert Nelles UEL in Grimsby, Ontario. The oldest continuously inhabited home between Niagara-on-the-Lake and Kingston, Nelles Manor was the family home for four successive generations of Nelles descendants, and remains standing today as a testament to Robert’s wisdom and perseverance through an ambitious colonial beginning.
The house and grounds are also a War of 1812 battlefield site.
A hidden gem in the heritage and cultural landscape of Niagara.
