Opened in 1850, the Necropolis cemetery is a beautiful example of a Victorian-era park-like burial ground. Containing the earthly remains of many historically significant Canadians, including George Brown and Thornton and Lucie Blackburn, it’s a picturesque setting for a quiet stroll. Located in Toronto’s Cabbagetown, across the street from Riverdale Farm.
