Founded in 1897, the Miramichi History Museum is one of the oldest and most eclectic museums in Atlantic Canada. The museum houses an extensive collection of artifacts reflecting the cultural and natural history of the Miramichi region and northern New Brunswick. Collections and exhibits highlight local heritage, community life, industry, transportation, and the people who shaped the region’s history.
The museum is open to the public during the summer season and by appointment during the off-season.
