Meeting Creek Heritage Railway Station is a restored 1913 Canadian Northern Railway station. The station is set up as it might have been when it was in operation, including the agent operator’s office, freight shed, and agent’s living quarters. Just across the preserved section of railway tracks is the restored 1917 Alberta Pacific Grain Elevator, with many displays about how it operated. While on site, take a walk down the linear park trails, which follow the old railway right of way, and stop at the grassland to see the prairie grasses and walk the labyrinth. Maps are available. To ensure someone will be onsite to unlock the buildings, call the Camrose station in advance at the number above.
