One of the best examples of Early Georgian architecture in eastern Ontario and Historic Home and Store built on the Voyageur Route at a Historic Portage by Northwest Fur Trader John Macdonell and later purchased and maintained by William Williamson, prominent businessman and founder of Laurentian Lumber Co. Owned by Ontario Heritage and operated by the Friends of the Macdonell-Williamson House.

Includes a Heritage Tea Room, General Store and various ongoing exhibits and events each weekend.
