La Vieille Maison a été construite en 1796. La Vieille Maison was built in 1796. According to research by William C. Wonders, published in 1979, it is the best-preserved example of the dwellings built by Acadians in Canada after exile. In 1958, Adolphe Robicheau turned it into a museum dedicated to the return of the Acadians. As the swallow rebuilds his nest after the storm, so has the Acadian rebuilt his home after exile.
