Housed in the 1911 Summerside Armory is the International Fox Museum. Discover intriguing characters, rags to riches stories, the art of secrecy, and so much more with a visit to the International Fox Museum. Islanders won the world race to be the first to successfully raise foxes in captivity and breed the illusive silver black fox, a freak of nature. Those “little silver mines” created PEI’s very own gold rush from 1910 to 1914, making Summerside the head office of an international industry. Free admission.
