The Historic SDG Jail was built in 1833 and was active until 2002, serving as both a minimum and maximum security facility throughout it’s history. Guided tours are offered seasonally and on demand. During the course of your guided tour, you will visit the original courthouse, cell blocks, surveillance room, exercise yard, gallows and much more.
