Le Grand Séminaire de Montréal voit le jour en 1857 sur les anciennes fortifications de 1675 de la Mission de la Montagne. Érigées au XVIIe siècle, les deux tours nous rappellent la cohabitation entre les peuples des Premières Nations et les missionnaires européens. Au fil des époques, le Grand Séminaire devient une prestigieuse institution académique et scientifique, côtoyée par de nombreux personnages historiques canadiens.
