Have you ever had the chance to peek inside the oldest house in Windsor? Built in 1798, and named after its first two owners, Alexander Duff and James Baby, the Duff-Baby House is one of the most significant late 18th-century landmarks in Upper Canada, a structure that retains its original orientation to the river and reflects some of the principal themes and events shaping the province’s early history. Owned by the Ontario Heritage Trust, the City of Windsor (Museum Windsor) currently leases the 1st floor. With the assistance of Les Amis Duff-Baby, they offer periodic tours of this magnificent mansion.
