The Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum is a community museum dedicated to preserving and interpreting Cole Harbour’s agricultural past, and to developing understanding of plants, animals and farming today.  The site includes heritage buildings and barns, agricultural and domestic artifacts and exhibits, flower and vegetable gardens, farm animals, green spaces, pastures and pathways, and a small wetland with boardwalk.

Fun Facts

An original Cole Harbour farm under cultivation for over 200 years.

Traditional farm animals on site; sheep, pigs, cows and poultry.

Bordered by a fresh water wetland with small boardwalk, outdoor classroom and education area, and neighbouring park.

Features award winning gardens, a small fruit orchard, pollinator gardens, heritage flowers, and native species.

Charming tearoom/café  – a Taste of Nova Scotia “Authentic Experience” member.

Gift shop with locally made gift items, note cards, lavender products, books and candy.
