Canon Richard’s Tearoom, formally known as St. Mark’s School,  a one room school located in Bareneed, NL.  The school closed many years ago and was later used as the church hall a place for gathering for church functions, social events, etc.

In 2016 St. Mark’s Church closed and in 2018 the church and the hall became the property of the Port de Grave Peninsula Heritage Society Inc., where it was turned into a Tearoom.  Now known as Canon Richard Tearoom, the Tearoom will be opening for the summer season starting on June 27, 2022.

The Port de Grave Peninsula Heritage Society is very proud that the old schoolhouse has gain Heritage status from Heritage NL.

Big plans are in the making for the tearoom and we look forward to serving visitors from around our province and around the world.
