The Big Valley Heritage Railway Station is a 1912 second-class station built by the Canadian Northern Railway. It features displays of local railway heritage. The nearby Roundhouse Interpretive Centre is the “ruins” of the Big Valley Roundhouse, also built in 1912. Also on site is the Canadian Railway Hall of Fame Pavilion, which honours those who have made significant contributions to the Canadian railway industry. The Big Valley station is the southern terminus for Alberta Prairie Railway Excursions, which runs out of Stettler.
