Fun Facts

Norman Bethune may be the only Canadian to have served in all three military branches during World War One.

His name is the most well-known in China of any foreigner, owing to generations learning of his development of mobile surgical units there during war time.  So he became famous to over a billion people, after just 22 months in their service.
