Located only a few minutes from the Hopewell Rocks is this historic 1845 “Shiretown” featuring 24 themed exhibits inside 8 original buildings located along the Bay of Fundy coastline. For 2024, there is an Albertosaurus Exhibit featuring “Albert” the dinosaur. Kids of all ages will love meeting Albert!
The Museum is located on a beautifully landscaped 6 acre site overlooking Shepody Bay, part of the amazing Bay of Fundy. The original buildings of the historic “Shiretown” of Hopewell Cape contain more than just artefacts, they contain the lives, legacies, joys and heartaches, of people who have called this special place home since the 16oo’s.
