They still live among us, these ancient ones, denizens of a time before scythe and plough, the first beings of this land. We have sought their extinction for decades, yet they persist, and continue to share their spirit and gifts of food, medicine, and wisdom with us with us. Come and join us on July 16th for a walk through lawns, ditches, and hedgerows, where we will discover the indigenous plants who live there, learn how to identify them, as well as their culinary and medicinal uses.
Rain or shine meet at the Commons Barn at 7:30. If raining the session will be held inside using samples gleaned earlier. Out of respect for others attending please wear a mask. Hand sanitizer will be provided. Bug spray is recommended. The cost is $10.00, and participants will be limited to 12.
