Join Sandy Smallwood, the developer who saved and restored the Andrex/Davidson House in the 1970s, to hear stories of lumber barons of Ottawa, the changing fortunes of the Davidson family during the depression, and the urban development pressures on the west side of downtown Ottawa in the 1970s. The tour will feature the ornate wooden walls, doors and ceilings of the Andrex/Davidson House, that Davidson used to showcase his lumber products to potential clients in the 1890s.
