Scott Manor is pleased to present the artistic works of Maria (Maryla) Dlutek this summer.
Maryla as her friends call her, is an engineer by profession, but her true joy comes from “making” visual art. Inspired by her passion for nature and travel. Maria is fascinated with paintings, sculptures, and all other forms of creativity. Her adventure with art began in 1997 when she was living in South Korea and had an opportunity to admire the natural beauty of the coastlines, villages, temples and people.
It was there that Marlya learned to paint with Chinese brush strokes took lessons from legendary Korean artist Mr. Park Seo-Bo. From there, Maryla studied both Eastern and Western visual art styles and tradition. Today their richness of technique and materials allows her to create and express different feelings and emotions through a mosaic of art. From watercolor Chinese brush strokes, wool, fabric, acrylic painting and pouring, pastels, crayons, painting on silk, mosaic, pottery, rug hooking and other crafts, come visit her show this summer to see her vast talent.
