You are invited to pack a picnic and spend some time at Belleville’s # 1 place for history – Glanmore National Historic Site – Saturday, July 6, 2019, Canada Historic Places Day. From 11 am to 3 pm there will be free outdoor activities including complimentary lemonade, croquet and games on the lawn and two sets of live musical performances for picnic-goers to enjoy.
Bring your blankets, chairs, some snacks or lunch and spend the afternoon on the lawn at Glanmore. You won’t want to miss two sets of toe-tapping musical performances featuring American standards from the 20’s 30’s and 40’s performed by a trio of talented musicians from the Quinte Symphony.
Glanmore is the place to be on Canada Historic Places Day, Saturday, July 6 from 11 am to 3 pm. All outdoor activities are free of charge and the museum will be offering Buy-One-Get-One-Free admission to the historic house all day. For more information call 613-962-2329.
