Historic Places Days Event

On Sunday July 10^th, The Huron County Museum and Historic Gaol will be holding festivities of our own to honour and to share in our admiration for local Canadian history. Those who attend our event can enjoy free admission, family-friendly activities held at the Historic Gaol and local musical talents will be playing in front of the log cabin on the Museum lawn. In addition to games and music a local photography studio will be at the Museum from 2-4pm to take individual and family photographs by-donation. Visitors are encouraged to join us for lunch as we will have a food truck stationed at the Museum from 1-30-3:30pm. The celebrations begin at 1pm until 4:30pm on Sunday July 10^th. We hope to see some new and familiar faces come out and honour Historic Places Days with us!
