Early on, the town of Toronto made itself known as a safe haven, an end point to the Underground Railroad.  Many men, women, and children flocked to its shores from the United States to flee the unwanted chains of bondage.

Join Toronto Cemetery Tours on this second tour exploring the historic Necropolis cemetery and learning about even more people who challenged discrimination and racial inequality.

The tour starts at 2pm.  Please come prepared for a two hour walk outdoors over uneven ground.
