Great free community celebration of Canada Day
Organized by the people who give the East Coast its reputation for a fine family friendly time. 7:30 breakfast at the Outreach Church in Hatfield Pt, Parade from the High School in Springfield at 9:10 with firetrucks, jalopies and floats,Opening ceremony at 11 am in the new playground at the elementary school, music faturing Joan Kennedy and Jacob Chevarie plus Shanklin Road and Black’s Mountain plus more. a carshow with dozens of great vehicles, BBQ, bouncey castle,cow patty bingo,tug-o-war,petting zoo, field games, bike rodeo, with the Loyalist Graveyard walk at 6:30, with the Grand Finale FIREWORKS at Hatfield Pt. Wharf at dusk.
