Our decoration service will be held at the cemetery on Sunday September 18 at 2pm. Flowers are placed around the site by attendees who are also invited to share their thoughts and feelings about this commemoration of some long overlooked Black history. Descendants of Black Pioneers who are buried at the site are usually in attendance.
Attendees are requested to bring lawn chairs. A rain location will be posted at the site (on the day) and included in the ad we will post in The Advance.
