NOTE: This is at Kings Landing not Sports Hall of Fame.
If you plan on being in the Fredericton area for New Brunswick Day weekend 2022 then be sure to take in this Celebration. Your host for this event, Capital Region Association of Geocachers (CRAG), has arranged for a reduced entrance fee of $15 ( tax included) per person on this day. In order to receive this special rate you must log your Will Attend by 8:00am on July 31st, state in the Log how many people are in your family group and state your caching name at the ticket booth. Check out this link to see the regular prices and you’ll agree this is the perfect time to visit this world class attraction. https://kingslanding.nb.ca/hours-and-prices/ It is also the perfect time to find the Geotour cache that is hidden in the village and to pass in a completed passport to claim a Geocoin! It is recommended that you plan on spending a minimum of two hours in order to see the entire village.
From the Kings Landing Event Calendar for July 31st, 2022
On August 1, 1834, slavery was abolished in Canada and other British colonies, freeing enslaved people in Canada. This weekend, we will mark Emancipation Day and focus on Black history in New Brunswick.
About the Geotour Launch
Representatives from CRAG will be onsite from 12:00pm – 4:00pm to provide more information about the Geotour, answer questions about our non-profit organisation and benefits of membership, and general geo-chat. Dignitaries from the Black Community have been invited to speak at the festivities.
