Celebrate Canada Day with FREE admission! Engage all your senses – sing “O Canada” as you watch the flag raised at Town Hall; join Parks Canada’s mascot, Parka the beaver, in the procession to the fort; savour a piece of cake; and listen to the Annapolis Basin Community Band, weather permitting.

Make your way to the Halifax Citadel as the historic fort takes on a festive air with Victorian music, games and, of course, Father Christmas. It’s the perfect way to capture some holiday magic to share with family and friends. Admission with a donation to Feed Nova Scotia (non-perishable food item or cash).
