Experience the whole process of turning wheat into flour. See demonstrations of cutting and flailing wheat, grinding wheat into flour in the Backhouse Grist Mill and the making of bread, baked fresh in the bake oven.
Please join us on July 6th. Our fully restored 1846 Grist Mill will be open for tours. Learn about the origins of our tiny hamlet, how in 1846 David Demorest built the dam, and the Grist Mill, around which Harrington West developed.
