Not Just Lies: How I Weave Historical Facts with Fiction to Create Stories of Faction
Wendy G. Robicheau, author of Hidden in Plane Sight: The Burning of College Hall (2024) and Founded in Tragedy: The Calamity that Founded a College (forthcoming 2025).
Wendy grew up in Southwest Nova Scotia, where her fascination with local history began. As an Archivist at Acadia University, she discovered a rich trove of stories begging to be told. Equally at home behind the lectern or at the keyboard, she brings Acadia’s past to life using a formula for ‘faction’ that she shares with us. Find out how she does it and learn how her novellas are not just lies.
