The Remington Carriage Museum started with a donation of 48 carriages from Don Remington, a local man who restored and collected horse-drawn vehicles.
His donation is the nucleus of what is now one of the world’s finest museums of horse-drawn transportation, with over 330 vehicles in the collection.
The largest museum of its kind in the world, the Remington Carriage Museum tells the story of horse-drawn transportation in North America.
