On July 13th the Conception Bay Museum celebrates its 50th anniversary! Since 1975 the museum has worked to preserve and promote the history of Conception Bay North, and on July 13th, 2025, we want to share the story of the museum and local communities with all visitors, both local and abroad.
The Conception Bay Museum will continue its usual operations, welcoming all guests with no entrance fee and providing guided tours of the museum exhibits. We will also be playing a slideshow of photos showing the story of the museum’s first 50 years from 1975 to 2025. Staff from other local historical society’s have been invited to drop-in throughout the day to share their own stories about the museum and neighboring communities.
