Fun Facts
– there are lots of historic Shelburne events written on the walls – the building of the “new” post office (now the old post office), a huge snowfall of 6 feet in May, and the birth of calves beginning in 1900.
– we have found lots of fun artefacts in the rafters including a full theatre stage and curtain, many artefacts pertaining to its sale loft days, and even a ticket from participating in the Shelburne Exhibition 1904.
– the barn had a fire in the early 1800s and the walls tell the story.
