Hello Everyone! The Charles Macdonald Museum will be opening this Canada Day on July 1st! This year we are excited to display artwork from Charlie himself who created this incredible historical site, Kevin West, Dyan Hatanaka and other extremely talented artists! There has been a lot going on at the museum over this past year and we are thankful that we can be open to the public this year and bring all visitors a wonderful experience.
Our theme for this year’s art display will be Fundy Shores, we encourage that everyone comes by to see the amazing oil paintings, watercolours and other works from Charlie’s collection all from around the shores of the Bay! As well, tours will be happening all day and visitors will be able to interact with our new digital display of Charlies journal pages and letters home!
The Charles Macdonald Museum will be open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm weekdays. All visitors that wish to enter the museum are required to wear a facemask or covering.
There are no admission fees but donations are always welcomed and appreciated here.
We hope everyone has had a good winter and we are thrilled to see everyone this summer!
