Vanderhoof is the Geographical Centre of B.C. and you can view the original cairn on-site. The Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre is conveniently located on the Museum grounds along Highway 16, with large trailer parking and a dog park behind the site. The Centre features a 12-metre long, 3-metre high wooden carving by master carver Peter Rodseth, as well as historical exhibits from around the Nechako Valley, including some from Saik’uz First Nation and surrounding First Nations. There are six historical buildings to explore as well as a circular walking trail. Come visit!
