Randall House Museum

Randall House Museum, which first opened in 1949, serves as Wolfville’s only community museum. The museum is owned and operated by the Wolfville Historical Society, which first formed in 1941. The objective of the museum is to protect and to share the story of our local community and those that surround it through exhibitions and outreach programs. This year the museum has opened two new exhibits. The first focuses on Wolfville’s war heroine Mona Parsons, who was the only female Canadian citizen to be imprisoned by the Nazis during Second World War and the honoree of the 2018 Nova Scotia Heritage Day. The second new exhibit is a photograph exhibit that examines how the landscape of the community has changed since 1893 when Wolfville was incorporated. Outreach programs include workshops such as rug hooking, flower arranging, and cocktail making, afternoon teas, barbecues, and historic walking tours.
